The CHP program is a two-tiered certification program, for CHP Level 1 details please click here
CHP Program participants are not required to complete both levels of the program. However, many participants opt for the dual certification because this specialized training can be applied to many types of hedge fund jobs and career paths. Opportunities exist in areas such as wealth management, due diligence on hedge funds, fund of hedge fund management, third party marketing, hedge fund compliance/legal work, and employment within a hedge fund as an analyst, trader, associate, or portfolio manager.
Choose from One of Three Concentrations
CHP Level 2 allows participants to specialize in one of the following concentrations: due diligence, marketing & sales, portfolio analytics. This allows you to spend 100% of your time learning about areas that are directly relevant to your position or a job to which you are transitioning. In the space below you will find an overview of each concentration option:
Due Diligence
Become an Asset to Your Hedge Fund at a Time When Due Diligence Has Never Been More Important
CHP Level 2 Option on Due Diligence helps hedge fund professionals learn about hedge fund due diligence fundamentals and best practices. The CHP Level 2 program on due diligence requires three texts, each one focuses on different aspects of due diligence and are crucial to a well-rounded understanding.
One text will provide an overall basic level of knowledge of due diligence, some techniques and key terms to focus on, and thus should be read first (Hedges on Hedge Funds). One book will provide candidates with some of the current models and techniques being used in the hedge fund industry to uncover operational risk and trends that may lead the way within the industry going forward (Hedge Fund Operational Due Diligence). The final book is meant to be the capstone of the entire due diligence section and links many of the previously explored ideas together in a meaningful way while explaining some of the most crucial elements of a hedge fund and their overall relation to risk (Hedge Fund Risk Fundamentals). If you need to let our team know which Level 2 option you have selected you may do so by completing this form.

Marketing & Sales
Gain valuable specialized knowledge to help raise capital for hedge funds
The CHP Level 2 Option on Marketing & Capital Raising combines hedge fund marketing and sales training with sales best practices to create a platform where third party marketers, capital introduction professionals, investor relations, and in-house marketers can gain credibility and certify their knowledge within this space.
Level 2 builds on CHP Level 1 by referring to investment strategies, terms, and trends discussed within the Level 1 reading materials.
